As this email hits your inbox I’m sure you are thinking, thank god!!! Karli has once again graced my inbox, I missed her rambling so much! Well have no fear, I am back - with no pre-determined email cadence moving forward whoops!!

Okay where was I??? I was figuring out my job, taking a break from writing, and stressing out about entering the real world again. I feel like unemployment was a nice little bubble where I could do whatever the hell I wanted and I really seized that - so its been a little stressful to enter the real world of responsibility and whatever. Bro its really stressful being an adult - there are so many things to pay attention to! Ugh

Goin with the work flow

I know you are dying to know whats going on so heres the jist - I started my job and its going swimingly, I love the people I work with and already feel at home. The addition of the job has proven to not exactly mesh with the whole unemployment lifestyle thing, I struggle with productivity and all the things but thats okay I am working on it. I have been a lot more invested in MUSIC!! I have been learning the piano and playing a lot of taylor swift on the uke - most excitingly I have been writing songs. Maybe I will send those one of these days. But basically I have been trying to get in the work flow, have a full social life, and still leave time for my creative outlets and all those things. Its all about balance and I am working on that. Some fun things I have done, is go to concerts, go camping, go on walks and have many meals with many lovely people, to name a few. Unfortunately, I am still injured so I cannot do my yoga or workout really and that is starting to take a toll on me, next step is to get an MRI, which I am not looking forward to but I am hoping with gleam some answers. Good news!! by the time you are reading this, I will be on a plane to Portland to see my favorite people and then Pittsburgh to see another of my favorite people and my coworkers. I am looking forward to that.

Poppies hair is GROWING PRAISE! Other than that, poppy is doing pretty well. We used to go to the park everyday and I would let her off leash but all the freedom got to her head and she doesnt listen to me anymore, so we are trying new things. Ironing out the Kinks

Well, I hope you enjoyed hearing from me after a little absence, I didn’t really have the energy to rebrand or write or whatever so I just stayed away. Honestly I don’t know what this will look like moving forward but I will figure it out, I am just happy to get some of my thoughts on paper.

To be honest, I am feeling stressed out and like I am not in touch with my body or my breath. Maybe its being back at work, maybe its a lack of exercise and healthy eating! IDK! Moving forward, I am going to be working on re-finding that internal peace that keeps me sane, its lacking!!!

Kinda crazy that life is the endless pursuit of balance, it really pisses me off sometimes. Every-time I feel like I am figuring it out, I am reminded that there will always be a new set of circumstances I will need to adjust to. All we can really do is keep our heads up and trust in our own resilience.
