life updates

okay so what am I up to?? Well, I have updated the rese, applied to a few jobs, and emailed all the recruiters I know. So far, no dice but its still early! I feel better about this round of unemployment cause it just happened to me. So thats a win right? Im planning on taking some spontaneous trips here soon and I eat ice cream 1-3 times a week. Oh and I died my hair pink to feel like I’m in control of my life (which lets be honest im not). I sprained my ankle/knee? in my soccer game a couple weeks ago and I’m just figuring things out ya know??

Final thoughts

Okay so, naturally with the layoff I have been thinking a lot about what the purpose of my life is and all those fun things. The existential questions are the ones that are the most perplexing. What strikes me as most interesting is that in my first layoff I feel like I didn’t do a good job, so I felt somewhat shameful about the whole situation. This time, I crushed it and still got laid off. So, in conclusion we can do our best or worst and at the end of the day things are still mainly out of our control, which is liberating or scary - whatever you want it to be.
